On the barbecue or in the house, few burgers are as good as the ones you make at home from scratch.
It’s not even hard so why not enjoy a healthy lean hamburger this summer.
This recipe is for one person
Ingredients
1/4 pound ground beef (at least 90% lean meat)
1 teaspoon of water
1 large potato
2 oz turnip-rooted celery
1 teaspoon olive oil
salt
pepper
2-3 branches fresh rosemary
2,5 oz squash
1/5 onion
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
2,5 oz whole wheat bread (maybe spelt)
2 lettuce
1 tomato
Preparation
Put the meat in a bowl with water and some salt and pepper. Turn over gently. Shape the meat to a hamburger that fits the bread.
Wash and peel that potatoes and celery and cut them in fries shapes. Put the fries in a bowl.
Mix oil, salt, pepper and rosemary. Pour over the fries and turn over gently. Fry in the oven for about 30 min on 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Or until the fires are crisp.
Slice the squash and cut onion rings. On the grill or on in a frying pan, fry the onions, then the squash and at last the meat. Drip some balsamic vinegar over the meat.
Create your hamburger with lettuce, beef, sliced tomato, squash and onion rings. Serve with fries.
